This piece shows my struggle with my prescription medications and the freedom I desired from them. It displays the freedom I have found in New York and the finding of myself outside my medicine. The overflowing pills leaving my body, the red string that holds me tight but is unraveling, the circle of feathers circling me, and the look of happiness and hope in the expression of my eyes all relate to this idea of freedom that I have found while living and experiencing New York.
